4/17/2023 0 Comments Asus pce ac68 frysConnect to the 5ghz band (there is 2.4ghz band and 5ghz band. Have a supported 802.11ac Dual Band adapter.Ĥ. Have a good working 802.11ac Dual Band router.ģ. Hopefully you have one that supports more then that.Ģ. Need a modem that supports at least 100mb down. Just so simplify it you need 4 things to take advantage of your 100mb down internet speeds and have the best wifi connection.ġ. It seems like this has all been explained from other forum members here. Help me out please Is the AC68 good for me or recommend something else? For around 100$ max. Obviously I should go for the PCE-AC68 right? I also seen some "extenders" that plug in the electric outlet.not sure how that works but it's a NO. Surely the AC68 that got 3 antennas should not bottleneck the speed? I mean, I got a laptop as well, has Intel wireless something, I am connected to the same AP, in the same room as my desktop and I get up to 40-50 megabit on speed tests. So I been looking on this ASUS PCE-AC68 and it seem to be great! 3 antennas and magnetic stand, AC wireless, PCI slot! This will surely help me right? It says 150% extended rage on the wireless. It should be 10-12 mb/s as on cable, but here is the thing, I can't route a cable across the house so I need something stronger. Later I did get so sick of it because I pay for 100 megabit and I get only like 200-300 kb /s. So, I build my new computer recently and It didn't have a WiFi card, I though "well whatever I buy some cheap adapter, who gives!" some Wireless N thing. I got a problem I came across and I need to know from someone who is better about this topic.
